Markus Burkhardt

Project Leader / Senior Mechanical Engineer

Markus is a project leader and senior mechanical engineer with more than 36 years of experience in the power plant business. As project manager in the power generation and new build business he has worldwide experience of more than 20 years, mainly comprising the accomplishment of piping projects in all aspects of rehabilitation, life-time extension and upgrade planning. He has been responsible for the processing of a number of piping projects and gained profound experience with all different kind and sizes of power plants, including lignite, hard coal and gas as well as supercritical and ultra-supercritical plants. Furthermore, Markus is well familiar with conducting owners engineering disciplines, tender processes and working in multidisciplinary international teams, through either multi contracts or EPC. 

What gives you most satisfaction in your work?

Being part of a project team with the common aim to achieve a positive result for you. It is always a pleasure to see what humans are able to build up.
