Martin is a nationally award-winning mining engineer with more than 21 years of professional experience in multiple mining and mining related consulting and engineering projects. His field of expertise covers underground and open cast mines, as well as energy and any other mineral deposits. He develops the extend of mining projects of any commodity together with new clients around the world, from mining operation’s optimization idea, via user requirement specification till sound functional and technical specification of the required service. His background of heading several consulting and engineering teams leads to his strong process analyzing and modeling as well as organization planning and optimization strength. He has also the ability to effectively market new and complex technical data and processes, company internally and externally. He is experienced in the development of company integrated management systems (IMS).
He is also developing and conducting seminars and training for international professionals in continuous open cast mining.
Knowledge from the industry leader in conveyor-based continuous mining technology RWE is transferred in a modern and hands-on way, as postgraduate and extended vocational education.
Martin is honored with two distinguished professional awards including the Hans-Röver-Award in 1996, the highest scientific award presented for the best innovative study in metal mining industry, and the Rudolf-Vogel-Award in 2002, presented for the best innovative scientific work at Technical University of Clausthal, Germany. Martin holds a Doctor title and a Master of Engineering in Mining Engineering from Technical University of Clausthal at Clausthal-Zellerfeld, Germany.
