Operated by RWE and STEAG

The power plant at Bergkamen-Heil is a hard-coal-fired power station jointly operated by RWE Generation SE and STEAG GmbH. With some 4,000 hours of use, around 1.1 million tonnes of hard coal is used annually to generate about 3 billion kWh of electricity.
