Generation Maintenance and Outage Support (GMOS)

Ferrybridge is an important UK site for power generation, providing maintenance of power generation equipment and engineering services to many power stations across the UK.  The site is also a centre for engineering expertise operating a Training Academy which currently manages the development of over 60 power generation apprentices, technicians and graduate engineers and for training a new generation of aspiring people to the industry.

The red brick Grade II listed building that housed the original turbines of the "A" Station is still standing today, housing one of the finest heavy engineering workshops in the country.

We have an extensive range of machine tools which, together with our team of highly skilled craftsmen, consistently deliver exceptional performance.

This facility is available to undertake sub-contract machinery and fabrication services to the UK market. We can manufacture components to the highest standards and exacting customer requirements. Our workshop can manufacture small precision parts and large specialist components up to 120 tonnes in our 5000 sqm facility.
