We were appointed by Liaocheng Xinyuan Group Co. Ltd. (Xinfa) in early-2019 to undertake the feasibility study, options appraisal, preliminary mine planning and scoping study for the implementation of In-pit crushing and conveying (IPCC) technology in two mine operations, capable of reducing operational costs that will result from a substantial growth plan in operations. Xinfa has initiated this pilot project as part of a “green-mining” concept, which is being implemented to better manage environmental requirements.

Part of this work entailed us preparing full digital geological model for Jinneng mine, selecting the most suitable mining method. Based on this information further mine planning such as the preliminary mine planning and scoping study were provided. We seconded one of our senior mine planners to visit the Xinfa Jinneng mine in Xinjiang Province north-west China.
