Any further additional modules (e.g. assessment centre)
For some positions at RWE, we use assessment centres (also known as ACs) as part of our selection process. The structured process helps us to better identify your strengths and potential.
An assessment centre generally comprises various elements, depending on the position. It is important to remain authentic and to really reveal the kind of person you are.

Showing sufficient interest in the company and the position advertised, while integrating all the arguments in your favour, is the trick to it. Successful self-promotion gives HR managers a good idea of whether you are the right person for the job when they first read through your application. If you aren’t sure whether you have struck the right note, send your application to someone who will give you honest and valuable feedback before you submit it.
Personality, empathy and authenticity – these characteristics are often more persuasive than even the best references. Of course, an impressive CV that seems to fit the position available like a glove is helpful – but the overall picture must also be a perfect fit. We are happy to get to know you just as you are. After all, we’re looking for genuine individuals – we’ve already got all the machines we need.
Preparation for the big day

If you have already attended an assessment centre, you already know that the day can be a challenge. Although the processes and tasks may vary from company to company or from field to field, you can have a think about what you want to do differently or better this time. This will mean you won’t need to feel as nervous on the day and can focus on the tasks and assignments instead.
