Why I decided to start an apprenticeship with RWE Supply & Trading

After graduating from high school, I decided to complete an apprenticeship at RWE Supply & Trading GmbH, as the company seemed to me to be very modern and dynamic at first glance. I still see it that way today and I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to work in such an international company. It is interesting to get in touch with many different people and cultures and to communicate in English.

Furthermore, I find it totally exciting that as an apprentice in many areas and departments get an insight and therefore always meet new people. Through the rotations during the apprenticeship, you get to know all the pillars of a functioning energy trading house. Also, through this rotations, you can find out for yourself which area aroused the most interest or fun and where you could imagine working later.

It’s fun with the other apprentices

Particularly the cohesion of the apprentices is very good and strong. Right from the start you get to know the other apprentices and over time the community grows together more and more. Everyone always has an open ear and is happy to help with any questions, which is a great help especially at the beginning. I have found good friends and colleagues here who greatly enrich my working day.

In general, RWE Supply & Trading GmbH is a very young and dynamic company, which is often reflected in everyday working life. The people here are always friendly and easy and even as a apprentice, you quickly feel that you are an important part of the company.
