What we do every day to improve diversity and inclusion

Inclusivity is deeply rooted in our culture

We believe that diversity is fundamental to how we operate as a Group, and that in order to create and maintain a diverse workforce, inclusivity must be deeply rooted in all we do. We call our approach Inclusive Culture, because it is more than just diversity. In this regard, it is important to acknowledge that intersectionality (multiple discrimination) is a key element to managing diversity. Moreover we actively reflect on our privileges in order to handle them responsibly.

Our diversity Office sets the framework for the entire RWE Group. Local diversity champions set actions and priorities according to varying requirements in their respective operating companies. Volunteers from all companies support our diversity and inclusion programmes. Our clearly defined diversity KPIs (key performance indicators) for all operational companies with corresponding action plans, hold us all to account.
